Two weeks later...

(again in English for our non native PT speaker/readers!)
Sorry for taking such a long time to add a new post. Shame on me. Filipe keeps growing, but you will all be glad to hear that the linear growth shown in the first weeks is now starting to look like it will reach an asymptote, so maybe Filipe will not be over 400 kg after all.

Last weekend we took a day to have lunch in Comporta, with Filipe's grandmother Beatriz. We took the ferry-boat Setubal-Troia (BTW, what they are doing in Troia with the gigantic marina and buildings looks like a third world country tourist resort for rich people; they have completely destroyed the area near the docks with a gigantic building... but I'm sure someone will be richer at the end of it, so all is fine...), but we did not see the dolphins (but then again, would you want to live near those horrible buildings... I would not either!). The place we had lunch at is really nice, a restaurant by the beach (made of wood, not concrete...), "Comporta Bar" I believe it's the name. The starters, grilled goats cheese with tomato jam, was amazing, and the "Fritada de Peixe" was very good too. Filipe found a secret admirer (see photo!). At the end I even got to take a swim at the sea. It was great. Then on the way back we stopped in Alcácer, at the castle. Amazing Pousada by the way. Filipe enjoyed the day, and was happy to see we have a beautiful country despite the "environmental terrorism" some people insist on doing.

This weekend our weekly lunch out was in Cascais, with our friend Luzia, where we had seabrass "ao Sal", which is basically a fish that is cooked in the oven only surrounded by salt (It's really good), in restaurante "Sagres". A touristic place, with the tables outside, but the food was good. We started with "Ameijoas (clams) à Bulhão Pato.". We spent the day in Cascais, there were loads of things going around, all about renewable energies and environment (hey, maybe they should do a demonstration in Troia too!), including demonstrations of those things you ride and which I can't describe properly or provide a name for (but see picture).

Filipe keeps smiling towards the ceiling of his bedroom. I wonder what makes him so happy about it!
